With my original plan for the day being cancelled, I decided to make the trip up to the Bribie Island Butterfly House.

Some fun facts about butterflies; the largest butterfly in Australia is the Cairns Birdwing, the brightly coloured wings are made up of tiny scales, and most butterflies fly at 8-20 km/hr.
