Perfect is the enemy of good
I have been looking for the perfect conditions and location to get a perfect photo of the Brisbane city skyline for some time now.
I was not sure about showing this photo as nothing in this photo is perfect. They sky isn’t blazing with amazing clouds saturated in colour, the location isn’t the typical iconic Brisbane cityscape such as the Story Bridge, there are thousands of people about and the wind had made the trees blurry.
Despite all that I think is individually not perfect about this photo, I really like this photo. I think have found my favourite Brisbane cityscape photo. The buildings are just glowing in the setting sun and the crowds of people remind me of the joyous anticipation that was in the air as they are waiting with their friends for the fireworks to start.
As the saying goes – perfect is the enemy of good.
